Whatever you feel comfortable in. Most clients will wear only underwear or paper g-strings are available for $2 which create minimal tan lines. The spray tan won’t stain any material you are wearing but any thick straps or lace will be obvious tan lines once developed.

Each tan has a different base colour, these are usually purple or green and help build a natural looking tan that is suited to your skin type.
Purple bases are for those who tan naturally & have a more olive skin tone.
Green based tans are colour correcting and often suit fairer or more pigmented skin tone.
Don’t worry if you’re unsure, we’ll have a brief consultation before your appointment. -
All tans contain hydrating and natural ingredients such as aloe vera and argan oil, they’re 100% cruelty free, paraben free and they’re VEGAN. All ingredients are naturally sourced (how good!). To put it simply, the ingredients compliment your skin! The reason why some fake tans go orange or patchy is because they are made of chemicals that are react poorly with skin. I use a tanning range that is developed right here in New Zealand. The natural ingredients in every tan make it easier for all different skin types to enjoy a beautifully natural looking tan and one that will last!

This is the question I get asked the most! Its actually very easy to understand. Each time frame is the recommended length of time between the tan being applied and you showering. For example, at 6PM you get a 2 hour spray tan, you can shower this off any time after 8PM, easy!
All spray tans stop developing after around 8-10 hours. So don’t stress if you leave your tan on longer than the recommended time - you won’t keep getting darker and darker.
If this is all still too much to wrap your head around, we can chat about it when you come in! -
Every tan is different and everyone’s skin is different - don’t stress about which tan to get, when you come in we can discuss what tan is right for you and your skin.

I recommend booking a spray tan 1-3 days before your event. 2 days is the perfect amount as I recommend you have 2 showers before your tan is at its best!
-
I recommend getting any waxing or laser hair removal done at least 2-3 days before your spray tan. I recommend asking for advice from your clinic or beauty therapist.
-
I recommend shaving at least a day before your spray tan - this gives enough time for your pores to close and your spray tan can be applied to a smooth surface. Showering should be done a few hours before your spray tan but sometimes we are in a rush so a last minute shower won’t do any harm! As long as your skin is dry and had enough time to cool off after a shower.
-
Your spray tan will last between 7-10 days. However excess swimming, showering or sweating may result in quicker fading.
-
Using a natural, fragrance-free moisturiser twice daily will keep your skin hydrated and lock in your tan for longer.

No - the top coat may transfer but it won’t stain.
-
Yes, of course. Your spray tan will likely transfer to your sheets (don’t worry, it won’t stain!) If you are sleeping in your spray tan, lay down a towel or wear long sleeves/pants to avoid any unnecessary washing of your nice sheets!
-
NO! There is no SPF or any protection when you have a spray tan. Please, please always wear sunscreen! You will tan and burn through your spray tan.
-
After your first show you can head back to the gym, be mindful that tight leggings or sports bras may rub some areas but this usually only happens towards the end of your tan.
-
Please check with your doctor or midwife before booking. You will need to wear a bra or cover that will avoid any tan in that area. We don’t want your baby having a tan face! Please also leave a note while booking.

Different types of tan can go orange when mixed together, it’s best to wait until your tan has completely faded before another application. Small patches however is fine.
-
Don’t worry, 99.99% of the time it’s absolutely fine. After the first 10 minutes & a really good dry, your tan is set & will begin to develop. If you have smudged it or been caught in the rain, it may look like the end of the world but its not. You’ve just smudged the top coat and after your shower, you won’t even notice it.
